In a partnership involving two Vancouver-area brands, Steamworks Brewing Company is now brewing the two flavours of Benchmark beer served at Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria restaurants.
In celebration of the new collaboration, the pizza chain is offering a dine-in Famosofest special where customers can get a Benchmark Beer for $4 with the purchase of a pizza at Famoso locations in B.C., Alberta and Saskatchewan, now until Monday, Oct. 28.
Steamworks, launched in Gastown in 1995, makes Benchmark lager and pale ale beers for Famoso, which started in 2007 and operates 11 restaurants in B.C. including Surrey, Ladner, Langley, Abbotsford (two locations), Vernon, Vancouver, Kelowna, Victoria, Sechelt and Burnaby.
Nine years ago, in 2015, Famoso brought its fire-roasted Neapolitan pizza, along with an updated menu and service model, to Guildford Town Centre, near the 152 Street main entrance.
