B.C.’s top entrepreneurs to speak in Abbotsford

The Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce is hosting three speakers, each recognized as BC’s Top 40 Under 40, at its monthly luncheon on April 26.

The Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce is hosting three speakers, each recognized as BC’s Top 40 Under 40, at its monthly luncheon on April 26.

Every year Business in Vancouver magazine publishes a list of B.C.'s Top 40 Under 40 to recognize exceptional entrepreneurs under the age of 40 who are outstanding leaders in their chosen fields and who are shaping our province's future.

The luncheon will feature three of these entrepreneurs: Michael Gokturk (CEO, Payfirma Corporation), Anita Huberman (CEO, Surrey Board of Trade) and Shawn Neumann (Owner, Domain7 Solutions Inc.).

They will be sharing their keys to success and the lessons they’ve learned along the way.

Gokturk has founded two companies in the electronic payment processing industry.   He took the first one public less than two years ago and has now started his second company.

Huberman’s position as CEO of the Surrey Board of Trade, the business lobby organization for B.C.’s second most populous city, gives her a lot of provincial influence.

Neumann is an Abbotsford entrepreneur, a nationally recognized speaker, and a tech leader in B.C.  He formed his own dot-com firm Domain7 Solutions which has now grown to include more than 45 employees.

This April 26 event will be held at the Ramada Plaza and Conference Centre on North Parallel Road from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 pm. Tickets can be purchased at www.abbotsfordchamber.com.
