Ashley Furniture HomeStore is now open in Abbotsford on Sumas Way.
Donald Miller started his first store in Abbotsford, Clearbrook Furniture, around the early 80’s on South Fraser Way. He closed that down in the late 90’s and a few years later started the Ashley Furniture HomeStore in Coquitlam.
Now the company has returned to Abbotsford with their third store.
The store participates in the Ashley Furniture HomeStore charity program called “A Hope to Dream,” which gives complete bed sets to less fortunate children in the community.
The first round of donations provided 10 complete bed sets, with a retail value of around $1,000 each, to local families referred by the food bank.
Beds will be given out quarterly based on proceeds from each mattress sold at the store.
