Airport creates new partnership with CCAG

Company has expansion plans at the Abbotsford Airport

The Abbotsford International Airport has a new partner, Canada Champion Aviation Group (CCAG).

CCAG recently acquired the Baron Bar and Grill Lease area and Coastal Pacific Aviation, and has plans to expand the flight school and provide pilot training for airlines in China. They will also provide support services to general aviation companies in China. CCAG’s future expansion plans include a new hanger, office space, a training center, flight simulators and newer aircraft.

“We are very excited to have Canada Champion Aviation Group on board,” said Dave Holmberg, chair of the airport authority. “They have some great plans for future development, and their business goals and vision align well with the Abbotsford Airport.”

CCAG is a Canadian company with local ownership. They are a worldwide provider of general aviation services including buyer consultations, pilot training, and maintenance and spare parts services.

Their experience is particularly extensive in Asia, where CCAG has built up relationships with local general aviation companies and authorities. CCAG’s experience in China also includes managing business aircraft charter companies, aircraft sales and support services, and repair and overhaul services.
