A local mortgage broker has been named one of the top 50 Brokers in Canada and a finalist in Canada’s CMP Mortgage Awards for Best Customer Service from an independent office.
Geoff Lee of GLM Mortgage Group has been recognized by the Canadian Mortgage Professionals (CMP) magazine. The award recognizes leading mortgage brokers who have proven themselves to be tireless workers, innovative leaders and the best in the business when it comes to navigating the mortgage landscape.
This year’s list was based off of the gross total income obtained by each respective broker. There are more than 18,000 mortgage brokers Canada wide and the list compares each qualified candidate through their reported earnings.
This past year has been a defining year for GLM, with this award being one of the highlights. Lee and his team have been honoured to receive a number of awards this past year, including being a Canadian Mortgage Award finalist for Customer Service, and being one of Dominion Lending Centre’s top grossing brokers several months running.
Lee and GLM were also able to help support the Imani Orphan Care Foundation to place the finishing touches on its church and well in Kenya. This church complements the Imani Home of Love, a safe haven for parentless children to seek refuge and gain access to education, basic needs, and hope for a bright future. Lee’s wife, Kim, is the founder of the organization and they were both thrilled on their last visit in March of this year to see the final touches added to the church.
The Imani project would not have been possible had it not been for the support of the local community, especially for those who participate in the Hockey Marathon of Hope. This event is one of the largest fundraisers of the year for Imani, with half of the funds going to their causes and the other half going to support the Doing Family Right Ministry, a locally based organization.
