An Abbotsford entrepreneur is hoping to earn enough votes to attend a five-day developmental workshop for business owners.

Braden Douglas opened Relevention Marketing Inc. in Abbotsford in 2007 and the company has grown more than 40 per cent annually, which has garnered it a number of awards from the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce.

Douglas has submitted an application to go to QuantumShift, which annually challenges 40 of Canada's most promising entrepreneurs to improve their leadership style, inspire business partners and maximize growth opportunities. The event is for CEOs whose businesses are past start-up and will explore topics that matter to high-growth entrepreneurs such as leadership, finance, strategy and human resources.
