A handful of brave souls decided to use the Fraser River near Abbotsford for an unofficial ‘Abbotsford Polar Bear Swim’ on New Year’s Day.
A video uploaded to YouTube on Wednesday shows a group of nine people of various ages enter the chilly waters, cleanse all the sins of 2019 and emerge from the frigid river anew for 2020.
A dog who appears to be with the group chose not to partake.
