The Roktoberfest event is set for Saturday, Oct. 5 at Tradex in Abbotsford.

Abbotsford’s Tradex will transform into a setting of Bavarian bliss mixed with classic rock at the Roktoberfest event, which is set for Saturday, Oct. 5.

Running from 3 p.m. until midnight, the 19-plus event features tribute bands for legendary groups Metallica and AC/DC, plus traditional Oktoberfest food by Yummy Foodies, and beer.

Master of Justice, a Vancouver-based tribute band for Metallica, have toured all across the province for close to a decade and will bring the Metallica experience for fans.

AC/DC tribute band Who Made Who have been hitting the stage since 2005 and have toured all across Canada. The band consists of lead guitarist Scooter Von, lead singer Dan Hunter, rhythm guitarist Rick Mead, bassist Mark Costa and drummer Jamie Constant.

The band’s website says they take pride in having a large stage production with exacting gear to reproduce the sights and sounds of an AC/DC concert.

Tickets are $30.75. For more information, visit tradexbc.com/events/roktoberfest.
