Thousands packed the Abbotsford Centre for the fourth annual Mamba Fight Night on Saturday.

The event featured eight mixed martial arts bouts, two Muay Thai contest and one kickboxing match.

The main event saw Oregon’s Hamza Salim defeat Abbotsford’s Liam Stevenson in round three by ref stoppage due to strikes.

Coquitlam’s Keenan Kellar scored a first-round knockout of Vernon’s Kenny Pope to win the Mamba middleweight title.

Abbotsford’s Gagan Gill beat Oregon’s Ian King in round one via guillotine choke.

Coquitlam’s Dale Russell defeated Abbotsford’s Austin Batra in round three via arm bar submission.

Other matches included: Abbotsford’s Shawn Sitthikoun beating Vernon’s Brett Zalapski (unanimous decision), Abbotsford’s Konstanin Gaivoronskii defeating Surrey’s Brandon Labrecque (unanimous decision), Abbotsford’s Stephane William-Duncan beating Alberta’s Elijah Twin via knockout in round two, Chris Ryan of Vancouver winning a unanimous decision over Abbotsford’s Josh Wilton, Abbotsford’s Simon Chahal defeating Terrace’s Chris Copper via split decision, Abbotsford’s Blake Bird defeating Surrey’s Monty Kandhola via second round ref stoppage and Abbotsford’s Austin Brar beating Coquitlam’s Phillip Liapas by split decision.
