The support for Adam Hadwin at the Masters was strong all weekend long at Abbotsford’s Ledgeview Golf and Country Club.

His father, Gerry Hadwin, is the director of golf at the club and also runs the new Northern 59 Bar and Grill.

He spoke with The News about his son’s performance and how the atmosphere has been at the club since his son hit the tee box at Augusta.

Adam shot a 70 (-2) on Sunday, his best of the four day event. He placed tied for 36th overall at the Masters, shooting a combined 294 over the four days.

Spain’s Sergio Garcia won the Masters in a thrilling playoff over England’s Justin Rose. Garcia shot a 279 at the event.
