Christine Sinclair will look to tap into her infamous magic again on Thursday, when Canada aims to beat New Zealand and remain undefeated early in the 2015 Women's World Cup of soccer.
Sinclair, from Burnaby, scored the lone goal on a late penalty kick to beat China in Game 1 last Saturday, giving the hosts a 1-0 win in Edmonton. Head coach John Herdman will face his old team, New Zealand, tomorrow.

"I get a chance to play against my old team New Zealand, which I was hoping was going to happen," Herdman said this week (via FIFA.com). "I've only coached two groups of players in the women's game. The New Zealand girls meant a lot to us, so to be able to share a moment in Canada is going to be really cool."
Abbotsford's Sophie Schmidt will be expected to start for Canada against New Zealand, again in Edmonton.
In Ottawa, formidable foes Germany (ranked No. 1 in the world) and Norway square off, while China will play the Netherlands and the Ivory Coast battles Thailand.
