Abbotsford's Taylor Mante is officially heading to Oklahoma Baptist University in the fall.
The defensive tackle signed on the dotted line to become a Bison in front of students and staff at Abbotsford Senior Secondary on Wednesday.
It marks the second consecutive year that a Panthers football star has headed down south, after Chase Claypool joined the Notre Dame Fighting Irish last year.
In other local football news, Bateman Timberwolves linebacker Dawson Davis committed to York University earlier this week.
Davis will head to Toronto to join the Lions in the fall.
