Sarah Reimer of Abbotsford won a silver medal in the marathon at the NAIA national track and field championships last week in Marion, Indiana.
Reimer, a Mennonite Educational Institute grad who competes for the UBC Thunderbirds, completed the course in 2:58:10.60 to clinch a national medal in the event for the second straight year. She won bronze in 2012.
Ivan Staeheli, another MEI grad on the Thunderbirds track squad, was fifth in the men's decathlon at the same meet.
