Abbotsford's Riley Saliken has been selected for the Canadian men's rugby sevens entry for the 2013 Summer Universiade in Kazan, Russia.
The event runs July 14-17, and marks the first time that rugby sevens will be contested at the world university games. Saliken, a scrum half out of Abbotsford's Robert Bateman Secondary, is coming off a terrific season at Royal Military College in Kingston, Ont. He was an Ontario University Athletics (OUA) all-star and was named RMC's male athlete of the year.
