Abbotsford's Twisters Gymnastics athletes had a strong showing at the Winterfest Invitational event in Coquitlam on Saturday.
The team took home 15 medals, and winners included:
JO level 3 (2008)
• Roxanne Makara – gold on beam
JO level 4 (2007-2008)
• Amelie Shea – bronze on bars, floor and all-around
• Maya Garcia-MacDonald – silver on floor
• Vienna Howes – gold on bars
JO level 4 (2004-2006)
• Courteney Whiteley – gold on vault and bars, bronze on floor and silver all-around
• Emily Butte – bronze on vault and silver on beam
• Cara Brodowich – gold on floor
JO level 5
• Emily Phillips – silver on floor and all-around
