Kooner picked for all-star showcase

Dylan Kooner of the Fraser Valley Thunderbirds has been chosen for the B.C. Major Midget League all-star game.

Kooner, a forward, leads the Thunderbirds (formerly known as the Fraser Valley Bruins) in scoring with eight goals and 10 assists in 23 games. The local squad sits ninth in the 11-team BCMML with a 4-18-2 record.

The all-star game goes Friday, Jan. 18 at 7 p.m. at the Langley Events Centre.
