Olympians excel at Langley meet

The Abbotsford Olympians posted a series of record-breaking performances and podium finishes at the Langley Invitational earlier this month.

The Olympians posted a 92 per cent best-time rate, set 16 new club records, and had seven new ‘A’ standards achieved.

Tobyn Smith was a double medalist in 10-and-under girls backstroke races, winning silver in the 50 metres and bronze in the 100m. Other medalists included Tavleev Grewal (bronze, 10-and-under girls 200m freestyle) and Hannah Weinkauf (silver, 13-14 girls 50m free).
