Angels earn all-star honours
Six members of the BC Angels have been named to the Lingerie Football League Canada's All-Fantasy (first team all-star) squad.
Running back Stephanie Manou, tight end Christine Moore, wide receiver Aleesa Garcia, cornerback Ashley Petrie, middle linebacker Kate Marshall and safety Jessica Hopkins were picked as all-stars.
The honour means they're eligible to compete alongside the best U.S. players on worldwide tours. In 2013, LFL all-stars will have the opportunity to play all around the world, including China, Japan, Brazil and Europe.
The Angels wrap up their inaugural season by competing in the Lingerie Bowl championship game against the Saskatoon Sirens next Saturday, Nov. 17 at 5 p.m. at the Abbotsford Sports and Entertainment Centre.
