Water-ski tour stops at Albert Dyck Park
The Nautique Big Dawg World Tour, a major water-ski circuit, is visiting Abbotsford's Albert Dyck Park this weekend.
The Abbotsford stop is the fifth of five preliminary events on the tour, with previous stops in Australia, Peru, France and Texas. The finals run Aug. 16-17 in West Palm Beach, Fla.
It's a slalom competition, and runs from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, resuming at 10 a.m. Sunday until 2 p.m.
Abbotsford's Dave Miller, a record-setting slalom skier, will be among the competitors.
