What a double standard. For five years through my church I ran a program called Project Back Pack. I collected donations to purchase over 100 backpacks a year to give to needy kids.

My church has a swap meet every year and gives money to a school to buy books, but they can’t help kids through a Christian program because it may offend someone.

Then the schools should stop sending kids to the Sikh temples and having the students participate in Diwali and all religious festivals.

Easter is not about bunnies, and Christmas is not about a fat guy in a suit sneaking into your house. They started as Christian celebrations.
