Freedom over offence

Should city council try to develop policy against “offensive” events?

Governments should not be in the business of legislating morality.

They should especially not weigh in on the value of sporting or entertainment events.  The word offensive is extremely subjective. What some people call offensive others call freedom of expression or art.

The cost of a free society is sometimes being offended. I will take freedom any day. Offend away.
