Zwenna Arends passed away peacefully into the presence of her Lord on February 13, 2004 at the age of 89 at Ebenezer Home, Abbotsford, B.C.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Jenny (Art) Arends, John (Aletta)Arends, Altienna VanderMeulen, Hank (Helen) Arends, Ben (Anita) Arends, and Audrey (Jerry) Geldeman, 28 granchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, and 2 sisters in Europe.
She was predeceased by her husband Berend Arends (1969), son-in-law Jake VanderMeulen (1988), and a granddaughter (1979).
Viewing will be from 8:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 17, 2004 at Henderson's Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford.
Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. at Gateway Community Christian Reformed Church, 1951 McCallum Road, Abbotsford with Pastor Bert Slofstra officiating.
Burial was held at Hazelwood Cemetery prior to the service.
Donations may be made to Ebenezer Home in memory of Zwenna.
