HOY
William "Bill" Leslie Hoy passed away on Monday, November 3, 2008 at his home surrounded by his family, after a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 53 years. He was predeceased by his father Leonard Hoy and his step-father Leonard Olsen. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife Marianne, his four children, Bill Jr. (Tresha), Delyse (Rick), Shane and Rene; four grandchildren, Megghan, Makenzie, Kooper and Samantha; his mother Betty; seven sisters and two brothers; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Bill was a hard worker and lived life to the fullest. Family time was very important and every year would take the family on winter getaways, ocean fishing trips and water skiing. He especially enjoyed his time with his grandchildren. He was a perfect host and shared his great barbecuing skills entertaining family and friends. He will be missed by all.
A Celebration of Bill's life will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 3:30 p.m. at the Bellevue Hotel - Banquet Room, downstairs, Mission.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Bill's memory may be made to the BC Cancer Foundation.
