BREDENHOLLER, William (Bill)
On July 7, 2010, William (Bill) Bredenholler was called home to rest with his Lord and Savior. Bill was born on May 25, 1934 in Diestedde, Westfalen, Germany to Bernhart and Gertrude Bredenholler. In 1957, he immigrated to Winnipeg, Manitoba, where he met Hildegard Wieler. The couple married on June 13, 1964 and were blessed with two children, Heidi Christine and Ferdinand Juergen. In 2006 they were further blessed with their only grandson, Benjamin Cole. Bill always enjoyed his church life with active memberships at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Winnipeg and Trinity Lutheran Church in Abbotsford. He also loved his work as an ironworker and foreman, having retired after 42 years in the industry.
Bill is survived by his loving wife Hildegard, children Heidi and Asish Prasad, Ferdinand and Michelle Bredenholler, grandson Ben, and siblings Heinz and Gertrude Bredenholler, Ewald and Elizabeth Bredenholler, Ben and Annedore Bredenholler, Karl Heinz and Marlies Bredenholler, Gertrude and Jans Kersting, Annie and Theo Suermann, Kaete and Bernhard Dohle, and Josef and Marlies Bredenholler. Bill has been predeceased by his brother-in law and sister Margaret and Karl Stienhans.
Memorial Services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church on Tuesday, July 13 at 11:30am. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be forwarded to the Huntington Society of Canada (151 Frederick Street, Suite 400, Kitchener Ontario, N2H 2M2) in memory of Bill Bredenholler.
