Willem (Bill) Pater
July 22, 1922 – March 11, 2007
Bill passed suddenly into the presence of his Lord and Saviour on Sunday, March 11, at the Menno Home in Abbotsford. Bill will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife of 42 years – Mieke Pater (nee Drost), his family: son – Robert (Kelly) of Abbotsford, daughter Irene Smallenberg (Ken) of Qualicum Beach; 2 grandchildren Joanne Shortman (Craig Snyder) and Jennifer Shortman and 3 great grandchildren: Emily, Sidney and Brandon; his sister Dieny Pater of Baarn, Netherlands, extended family and many friends.
A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 27 followed by a memorial service at 12:00 noon at Abbotsford Pentecostal Assembly, 3145 Gladwin Rd. Abbotsford.
