Wilbur Meredith Ross
Aug. 11, 1923 - July 15, 2006
Following a heart attack and a brief hospitalization, Wilbur died peacefully a MSA Hospital.
Born at home in Aldergrove, he was the son of Art and Bessie Ross. He was proud to be a part of the "Ross Motors" legacy. He was predeceased by his brothers Stan and Lloyd.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Doris, of nearly 50 years, and his four daughters: Colleen and Andy Mitchell, Sharon and Henry Perkins, Joanne Friesen, and Linda and Rod Thiessen; his grandchildren Brad, Kelsey and Ryan Mitchell, Corey and Katrina Perkins and Amy and Catherine Friesen; and great granddaughter Makayla Mitchell.
He was admired by all for continuing to work as a chick sexer, a job he had enjoyed for 64 years, his dedication to walking and his love of life.
The care and concern of all involved is greatly appreciated.
A celebration of Wilbur's life and a chance to reminisce will be held on Monday, July 24 at 2:00 pm at the Ramada Plaza Conference Centre.
