Whiteley, Walter
Born on September 23, 1924, Walter passed away peacefully on April 11, 2011. Predeceased by his wife Elizabeth in 1991, Walter is survived by his loving family of 7 children: Barbara (Frede) Lauren, Marianne (Barry) Best, Shirley (Jerry) Weys, Douglas Whiteley, Kathleen Whiteley, Kenneth Whiteley and Sherry (Dale) Tagseth; 11 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. He is also survived by sister Joan Page, brothers Jack and Peter Prasloski, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Private family graveside will be held in Hazelwood Cemetery, Abbotsford, BC. A Memorial Tea for Walter will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2011, from Noon to 2 PM, at Grace Evangelical Bible Church, 2087 McMillan Road, Abbotsford, BC.
A donation in memory of Walter may be made to the Parkinson Society of BC. Our sincere and heartfelt thanks to all of the staff at Tabor Home for the wonderful care given to our father.
