Walter Olund passed away peacefully at Mission Memorial Hospital on Saturday, September 3, 2005 at the age of 92 years. He was predeceased by three brothers and one sister. Walter will be lovingly remembered by Ethel, his wife of 56 years; children Harv (Jolayne), Sharon, Ken (Tina-Marie), George and Cheryl-Ann (Bill); 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and close friends. Walter was a WWII Veteran and a lifetime member of the Carpenter’s Union, Local 1907.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2005 at 1:00 pm at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 32420 Seventh Avenue, Mission, BC, with interment to follow at Hatzic Cemetery.
