Virginia Ann Powers Lawrence (Ginger) beloved wife, mother and grandmother, went home to heaven on Thursday, July 20. 2004 in Regina, Saskatchewan. She was born on March 20, 1930 in Stockton, California and cherished 55 years of marriage to her high school sweetheart, Rev. Kenneth D. Lawrence of Abbotsford. Grateful for sharing her love and laughter are her six children; Dan (Chris) Lawrence of Portland, Oregon, Don (Shelley) Lawrence of Cloverdale, Doug (Arlyn) Lawrence of Spanaway, Washington, Debbie (Doug) Wiens of Surrey, Deanna (Kevin) Van Elswyk of Puyallup, Washington and Dottie (Rob) Clogg of Coquitlam; 23 grandchildren; Jennifer (Scott) Ackerman, Daniel Wiens, Amy (Craig) Brake, Ben Wiens, Bethany Wiens, Abram Van Elswyk, Peter Van Elswyk, Chris (Nicci) Clogg,

Andrew (Anna)Clogg, Katie Clogg, Karl (Carrie) Thienes, Teresa Lawrence, Abigail (Damon) Pyett, Emily Lawrence, Lucas Lawrence, Becky Lawrence, Tyler Lawrence, Heather Lawrence, Hayley Lawrence, Timothy Lawrence, Hillary Lawrence and four great grandchildren Gavin A. Ackerman, Justin Brake, Megan Brake, and Eden Clogg. A Memorial Service to celebrate Virgina’s passion for Jesus and her love for family and friends will be held on Friday, August 6, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at Johnston Heights Evangelical Free Church, 9612 152nd Street in Surrey, B.C.
