Victor Cecil, late of Abbotsford, passed away on Nov. 9, 2006 at the age of 81 years. He was predeceased by his parents, James and Florence (Archer) Laursen, and 3 brothers Roy, Clifford and Lloyd. Victor is survived by his loving wife Mildred (Alm), sons Donald (Laverne) Laursen, Spanaway, WA, Christian (Irma) Laursen, Burnaby, BC, daughters Lynne (Neale) McCutcheon, Princeton, BC, Cheryl (Gordon) Parrott, Kelowna, BC, Marilyn (Rick) Laursen-Brown, Bradner, BC. Grandsons Richard (Karen) McCutcheon, Aldergrove, BC, Stuart (Nancey) McCutcheon, Abbotsford, BC, Patrick Morphy, Vancouver, BC, Adam (Marsha) Morphy, Surrey, BC, Travis (Mary) Morphy, Kelowna, BC. Grandaughter Angela (Arthur) Bowman, Bayswater, S.W. Austraila and great granddaughters, Angela May Wall, Abbotsford, BC, Bailey McCutcheon, AlderÂgove, BC and great grandson Noah Morphy, Surrey, BC as well as many Ânieces and nephews and five siblings, Eloise, Frank, Opal, Bud and Bernice. Victor was a member of I.O.F. and Abbotsford Seniors Resource Centre.
A memorial will be held on Nov. 24, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Menno Hospital Chapel, Abbotsford. In lieu of flowers donations to the MS Society or charity of choice would be appreciated.
