Vicki passed away on Nov. 1, 2007 in Barrie, Ontario. She was born in Abbotsford on March 22, 1956 and worked as a nurse, college teacher and as an administrator. She enjoyed crafts, music and flowers. She involved herself in volunteer and church work, especially in choir and music. Vicki was a wonderful wife to Mark and mother to Joel and Daniel. She was, above all, a good friend, joyful, caring and generous. She was raised in a devout Christian home and was baptized in her youth. Vicki's spiritual journey was uncomplicated, sincere and personal. She placed her hope in the One who, by His death and resurrection, sets us free and He will welcome her into His peace.

Vicki succumbed to pancreatic cancer, a disease which had already claimed her mother and a sister. She is survived by her husband Mark and her two sons, Joel and Daniel, as well as by her father, Abe Froese and his wife Dodie, two sisters and a brother.

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 6 at St. John Vianney in Barrie, Ontario. It was Vicki's wish that her ashes be placed in the cemetery in Abbotsford where her mother lies.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Society or charity of your choice.
