Vern Gordon Henderson
May 30, 1955 - October 7, 2017
Vern Gordon Henderson, late of Abbotsford BC, passed away peacefully at the age of 62 after a short battle with cancer.
Vern was born on May 30, 1955 in Brandon, MB, to Thelma Henderson, whom he is survived by.
Pre-deceased by Robert Zacharias (stepfather) and Brian Henderson (brother), Vern will dearly be missed by his surviving family, his beloved wife of 38 years Debbie Henderson, children, Tim (Missy) Henderson, Mark (Melissa) Henderson, Amanda (Vince) Theberge and Jason (Jen) Henderson, 11 grandchildren, two brothers and many nieces and nephews.
To honor Vern and share stories, a celebration of life will be held at The Baron Bar and Grill, located at 1276 Tower Street, Abbotsford, BC on October 21st at 5:30 pm.
The family would like to extend our gratitude to the Klimo Cancer Clinic and nurses at Abbotsford Hospital for all they had done to help Vern fight.
Thank you to family, friends, colleagues and "Team Vern" for the love, generosity and support through this entirely too short battle.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Vern's name to Katies' Place animal shelter in Maple Ridge, BC.
