Tony Paul George Anning

June 29, 2006

(July 2, 1985 to June 29, 2006)

Was taken from us suddenly. Tony was our son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, our friend.

Tony was extremely social, caring, understanding and much loved by all who knew him. He was always part of the good times and you could certainly pick his laugh out of the crowd.

Tony graduated from Robert Bateman High School in 2003. He was a hands on type of person, from his trumpet and saxophone playing, his wood working projects and his enthusiasm for his job as a heavy machine operator at Amix Salvage. Just last week he had earned a promotion to crane operator.

Tony lived life to the fullest. He was never scared of anything and was always go, go, go, full speed ahead!!! You could always count on Tony to be the first to try something new. Tony had a life long love for the outdoors; camping, hunting and sports, especially soccer which he had been playing since age five. Tony loved his mixed slo-pitch team, where he could always be found cheering on his teammates.

Tony loved his family and took his role as big brother very seriously. Tony will forever be remembered by his parents Paul and Sandi, brother Steven and sister Katie, Grandmother Theresa Anning, Grandfather Terry Gaffney, Uncle John, Aunt Shirley, cousins Jenny and Nic, best friend Nick and his family and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and an incredible amount of friends and coworkers.

Grandma Gaffney and Grandpa Anning will be there waiting for you.

A celebration of Tony's life will be held Friday, July 7, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Mount Lehman Community Hall soccer field, 6418 Mt. Lehman Road. Tony requests that you wear jeans, t-shirts and, if you have one, a cowboy hat.

Tony, we will miss your smiles, laughter and your sensitive soul and we will remember when…

Love you forever, Mom, Dad, Steven and Katie.
