WIENS, Tina (Epp) Wiens passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord on December 8, 2010 after a full and rewarding life of 97 years. She was born to David and Maria Epp on October 15, 1913 in Laird, Saskatchewan. In 1934 she married Peter P. Wiens, also of Laird, with whom she raised six children. They moved to Kitchener, ON in 1940, back to Laird (1942), to Arnold, BC (1948), and Abbotsford (1958).
Tina was predeceased by her parents, husband Peter, and eleven siblings. She is survived by sister Tillie (Epp) Klassen, children Marlys Welsh, Grace Wiens, Marjorie Wiens, Carol (Merv) Boschman, Dennis Wiens, Victor (Marty) Wiens, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A public viewing will be held December 16, 7-9 pm, at Woodlawn Funeral Home 2310 Clearbrook Rd. The memorial service to celebrate Tina's life will be held Friday, December 17, 11:00 am, at Clearbrook MB Church, 2719 Clearbrook Rd., Abbotsford. O
