With terrible sorrow we say goodbye to Timothy John Heikkila, who passed away suddenly on November 8, 2016. Tim is survived by his mother and father Christine and Ilmo; girlfriend Krista; sister Susan; brother Alan, sister-in-law Shannon, niece Emmi and nephews Markus and Owen; aunts and uncles Maria and Graham, Aurea and Topi; cousins Aina and Jason, Alvi and Melissa and their families, and many relatives in Finland. Born March 8, 1982, Tim grew up in Mission and graduated from Mission Secondary School in 2000. An avid athlete, he played both soccer and hockey through his school years. He was a passionate artist and studied 3D Visual Arts and Computer Animation at Van Arts. He later became an apprentice plumber. Tim was a thoughtful, sensitive, fun-loving young man who made everyone he met feel important. He will be sorely missed by his many friends and family. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 4:00 PM at Bethel Pentecostal Assembly, 32729 Seventh Avenue in Mission, BC.
