THOMAS HOUSTON

January 21, 2004

Thomas Stewart Houston of Abbotsford passed away on January 21, 2004 at the age of 90 years in the MSA Hospital, where he had served for eight years on the Board of Directors.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife Helen, his daughter, Charlotte Diamond and son-in-law, Gary McDevitt and his grandchildren, Chuck, Stewart, Donald and John McDevitt, Matthew and Thomas Diamond and his many great grandchildren. Unfortunately, his daughter, Jean McDevitt, predeceased him. He is survived by his sister, Olive Dill and his brother, Gordon Houston.

Stewart will be remembered for his contribution to many community organizations and his dedication to making this a better world for all. He had served as President of the Pensioners's Club, as a Director of the Surrey Coop; he was involved with the CNIB, the Curling Club and the Scottish Club and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He loved and appreciated music. All who knew him will sadly miss Stewart, his optimism and his smile.

A Memorial Service will be held in Richmond on February 15 at 2:00 p.m. at the Executive Airport Plaza Hotel for family and friends.
