Thomas Edwin Dickenson, MM, of Mission, BC passed away on September 13, 2006 at Christine Morrison Hospice, at the age of 83 years. He was born on August 12, 1923 in Acton, Ontario and was the son of the late William and Ethel Dickenson. Tom moved to BC in 1953. He fought in WWII and was awarded the Military Medal, amongst others. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and selflessly dedicated to his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Justine; children Lindy (Bruce) Henney, Larry (Grace) Dickenson and Loretta (Ron) Thiering; grandchildren Ryan (Kara), Ray (Sarah), Charlene, Joel, Bianca, Erica, Mark, Sheena and many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers John and Harry and sister Christine Bradley. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, September 18, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, 32627 Logan Avenue, Mission, BC. Donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. #57 in remembrance of Thomas Dickenson.
