Suzanne (Sue) Carolina (nee Aller), passed away peacefully July 10, 2005 in Abbotsford, BC with her family at her side.
Born February 15, 1917 to John and Lizette Aller in Dauphin, Manitoba. Raised on the family farm in Dauphin, Sue moved to Victoria, BC, where she worked in retail and food services. She relocated to Vancouver where she met and mVarried John Edwin Scruton. Mom was both a homemaker and worked in the lunch room at Henry Hudson Elementary School. In 1979 Sue was recognized as Kitsilano's Citizen of the year for her numerous good works. mom loved travel, gardening and bowling. She is survived by her brother Robert Aller of Port Albernie, BC; her sons, Robert Scruton and his partner Jane Topham, of Abbotsford, BC and David Scruton and his wife Brenda of London, Ontario; her grandchildren Alanna Scruton of Duncan, BC, Nicole McSwain of Ferndale, Wash.; Adam Scruton of CFB Comox, Lisa Scruton of Kamloops, BC, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband John Edwin Scruton, her parents, many siblings and friends, Mom is now with them in "Her Garden"!

Memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 22, at Canadian Memorial United Church, 15th Ave. at Burrard St., in Vancouver. Rev. Bruce Sanguin and Rev. Susan Dumoulin will officiate.
