MCFARLAND, Susan Margareta (Rita)
McFarland - Susan Margareta "Rita" passed away into the presence of her Lord on February 2, 2009 at the age of 74 years. She was predeceased by her sister Anne Dirks. She is survived by her loving family, her husband of 54 years Bob, four children Susan (Al) Phillips, Arlene (Lindsey) Bauer, Allan (Pauline) McFarland and Colleen (René) Geelhoed; eight grandchildren Robert Phillips, Susan Anne Forget, Katelyn Bauer, Claire McFarland, and Christopher, Lukas, Nicolaas and Amara Rose Geelhoed; and by two great grandchildren Jordan and Emmaline Forget. She is also survived by two sisters Melita Somers and Helen Sawatzky and two brothers Clifford Hiebert and Jerry Hiebert. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 14th at 1:00 p.m. in Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford. In lieu of flowers, donations made in her memory to the Christine Morrison Hospice would be appreciated.
