Stephanie Frances Kwiram

Stephanie Frances Kwiram, widow of the late Rudy Kwiram who predeceased her in 2009, passed to her rest peacefully at the Holmberg Hospice in Abbotsford, BC on February 3, 2017, approximately three months after she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Stephanie was a warm-hearted, generous, and loving member of her community and the Abbotsford Seventh-Day Adventist Church, where everyone was her friend. Rudy and Stephanie loved to travel and spent many months at a time living in various countries around the world. Stephanie was born in Edmonton, Alberta, on September 3, 1930, the tenth of ten children born to her mother, Barbara Jossul. Barbara and her husband, Metro Jossul, had seven children before Metro’s death in 1920. She had three more children ~ William, Victoria, and Stephanie, with Thomas Salahor, who had emigrated from Romania. Stephanie is survived by her sister, Victoria Prince (Vancouver, BC), her son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Ina Murray (Scotch Creek, BC), grandson Jordan Murray (Edmonton, AB), in-laws Ben and Elsie Kwiram (Kelowna, BC) and Alvin and Verla Kwiram (Seattle, WA), and numerous nephews and nieces. Her entire extended family and her many friends will always remember her good humor, generous hospitality, and gregarious nature. A Memorial Service will be scheduled for the spring at the Abbotsford SDA Church. Online condolences to the family may be made to: www.wiebeandjeskefh.com
