t is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shelley Margret Gower. Shelley passed away on December 25th, 2020 from complications of a stroke.
Shelley was a wonderful sister, aunt and a friend to many and she will be deeply missed. Shelley never seemed to take the easy road through life, but it did lead her to finding her faith, which she found extreme comfort in.
Through this she met many of her amazing friends, whom she loved dearly. Shelley enjoyed the simple things in life. Sitting around a campfire with friends and family, taking walks on the beach and spending time with her fur baby Honey.
She also loved taking road trips with her friends. She always came back with stories to tell and was so looking forward to many more. Shelley never lost her sense of humour regardless of what life dealt her. She was always up for the crazy game nights with family, with everyone laughing until our stomachs hurt.
Her quick wit could always make light of a situation, and she was the first to make fun of herself. Shelley had a huge heart and loved nothing more than being able to give to others, she would give the shirt off her back if it meant helping someone.
We would like to thank Dave and Marilyn for always having her back. Even though our hearts are broken, we know she has gained her wings to soar. Shelley is survived by her brother John, sister-in-law Shelley, nephew Matthew (Courtney), niece Nicole and her beloved companion Honey.
