It is with sadness that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of a beloved son, grandson, cousin, nephew and cherished friend, on March 30, 2009. Sean is predeceased by his grandfather Howard Desjardins, grandmother Regina Murphy and uncle Anthony Desjardins. He is survived by his loving parents Desiree (Scott) Stepaniuk and Kevin Murphy; grandmother Trudy (Rudy) Hanni, grandpa Joe Murphy as well as many extended family members and dear friends. Sean had a smile that could light up the room. He was kindhearted, thoughtful, always offering a helping hand and had a great sense of humor. His generosity with hugs, his infectious smile and laughter will be missed by all who knew him. He loved and excelled in hockey, lacrosse and more recently in kick-boxing. A Celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday April 8, 2009 at the Matsqui Centennial Auditorium 32315 S. Fraser Way in Abbotsford, BC. A public viewing will be held at 12:30 with services beginning at 1:30 pm.
