Sean Lawrence passed away suddenly on November 20, 2007. He was born on April 18, 1990 in Edmonton, Alberta. He was a Grade 12 student at Robert Bateman Senior Secondary School. He is survived by his loving family, parents Dave and Adele Phillips, and two brothers Richard and Mark; grandparents Art and Mary Magnus; relatives – Lyle (Ann) Magnus, Robert, Dennis, Eliina (Scott) Eliisha, Ben. Terry Magnus, Sabrina. Charles (Joyce) Magnus, Steven, Victoria. Cindy (Wilf) Andrus, David (Karalee), Rachel (Trevor), Rebecca. Wanda (Mike) Nyvall, Eric (Mary), Daryl (Jenessa). Kevin, (Sandra) Magnus, Megan, Brianne, Colton. Gloria (Clint) Neuls. Mike (Kathy) Phillips, Jonathan, Andrew, Meaghan. Judy Phillips, Ruth-Ann (Kiran) Segarty. Predeceased by grandparents John Phillips and Audrey Phillips-Kronstrom.
Sean was passionate about baseball. He was a team leader, motivator, and cheerleader on the Abbotsford Cardinals. Sean was an avid fan of the Seattle Mariners & the Seattle Seahawks, attending as many games as possible.
He will be sadly missed by his friends and family.
Viewing will be on Thursday, Nov. 22 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Rd,, Abbotsford. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 23 at 1:00 p.m. in Sevenoaks Alliance Church, 2575 Gladwin Rd., Abbotsford, officiated by Quentin Steen. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to “Sean Phillips Bursary” fund, going towards baseball players in Abbotsford Minor Baseball.
