Sara was born September 4, 1926 in Altona, Manitoba. Together with her family, she moved to Abbotsford, BC in 1955. She loved her God, music, flowers, travelling, and writing. In June 1999, she married the love of her life, Edgar Kitzmann. Sara was predeceased by her loving parents Cornelius W. and Margareta Sawatzky, sister Martha Peters, two nieces Naomi and Agatha Mae. Sara is survived by her loving husband Edgar, children Anneli, Harry and his wife Randi, granddaughters Taylor, Rudi, and Bailey, brother Abe and his wife Erna, sister Agatha Mae and her husband Abe Krahn, brother-in-law Bill Peters, and may nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held at King Rd. M.B. Church Thursday, 2:00 pm. Donations may be made to the Cancer Society.
