NANUWA; Santokh Singh
Santokh Singh Nanuwa passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on November 23, 2016 in Abbotsford, BC at the age of 70. Santokh is survived by his wife Diljit Nanuwa, daughter Raminder Nanuwa, daughter Barinder Bhullar, son-in-law Charan Bhullar, son Rupinder Nanuwa, and daughter-in law Bharwat Nanuwa. He will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren Nihaal, Sahib, Aasha, and Ziyah. Santokh was born on April 4, 1946 to the late Kartar Singh and late Har Kaur of village Pathlawa (dist. Nawanshahr). He immigrated to Abbotsford, Canada in 1972 and married Diljit in 1973. Santokh began working for CN Rail in 1974 and had an illustrious 35 year career as an Assistant Track Supervisor before retiring in 2009. A funeral is scheduled for 10:30 AM on December 1st, 2016 at Fraser River Funeral Home with prayer services to follow at 12:00 PM at Khalsa Diwan Society Gurudwara in Abbotsford.
