Ruth peacefully passed away at the age of 93 years in Langley, BC, on December 7, 2005. A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Predeceased by her husband Reg in 1999. Ruth will be sadly missed by her loving daughter Dianne (Russ); granddaughters: Kerry (Chris), Carolyn (Daniel); great-granddaughters: Mikayla, Megan and Kylie. Also survived by two sisters: Rose Martin of Australia and Betty Hickman of England. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, in particular, Ruth who spent many hours with her.
Much thanks to the Langley Home Support, Langley Palliative nurses, Langley Hospice and a special thanks to 2 doctors — Dr. Brendon Martin who has such a special place in the hearts of our family and Dr. Admanson from the Hospice. We also thank her many friends who dropped by and particularly Betty and Don who sat with her and loved her so much.
Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2005, Sharon United Church, 21562 Old Yale Road, Langley, BC, at 2:30 pm. Should friends desire, donations may be made to the The Langley Hospice.
God took her home, it was his will, but in our hearts she liveth still.
