PEARCE, Ruth
Mrs. Ruth Pearce born in Venn, Saskatchewan passed away on March 11, 2009 at the age of 84 at Menno Hospital, Abbotsford, BC. She will be greatly missed by daughter Marjorie and her husband Lloyd; grandchildren Ruth Anne (Hessel), Jonathan (Rayna), Nathan (Krista)and Sarah; and great-grandchildren Devan, Kadence, Justin, Yelayna, Jordan and Zenyssa. So many others, along the way, claimed her as Mom, Grandma and dear friend. Frank Earl Pearce, her husband and sweetheart for 62 years, predeceased her by a mere eight days. She was the last of eight siblings to pass away. Ruth loved her family and prayed for them faithfully in these last few years. Ruth and Earl did everything together, and left a legacy of love to their family.
A service of remembrance for both Ruth and Earl will be held this week at the Menno Hospital for the sake of family and the residents and staff of 2 East. It will be a celebration of their life together and give tribute to the wonderful care they received in these last four years. In lieu of flowers, the family would encourage consideration of a donation to the missions efforts of Immanuel Fellowship Baptist Church, Abbotsford.
