Ruffina, nee Buller, late of Abbotsford, B.C. passed away October 13, 2005 at the age of 87, in the Christine Morrison Hospice Ward of the Mission Memorial Hospital. Ruffina was born in Drake, Sask. June 18, 1918. She was predeceased by her husband of 38 years, David Oblander, November 14, 1980. Ruffina is survived by her three daughters, Joan (Laurence) St. Pierre from Agassiz: Connie (Roger) Johnson from Chilliwack and Nola (Rod) Robertson from Aldergrove; six grandchildren, Tracy St. Pierre, Kim Blakeway, James Johnson, Leanne Unrau, Megan Robertson and Kristine Robertson; seven great-grandchildren, Preston, Danielle, Justin, Branden, Alycia, Benjamin and Amanda. Interment will be on Thursday, October 20, 2005 at 1:30 pm followed by a service in the chapel at Valley View Funeral Home 14660-72nd Ave. Surrey. Family and friends will be given an opportunity to share their memories. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Christine Morrison Hospice, or to the Salvation Army.
