Rose Nickel passed quietly into the arms of her Lord October 11, 2008; eight days short of her 97th birthday. Rose leaves behind two sons, Sheldon (Beth) and Larry (Sharlene); eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. Rose was predeceased by her husband of fifty-two years, Jake in 1988 and her loving daughter Shirley Dolman in 1985. Funeral Services will be held on October 18 at 1:30 at Woodlawn funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Rd, Abbotsford with visitation prior to the service from 12:30 to 1:30 pm. Interment to follow at the Maclure Road Cemetery.
