McLEAN, Rosaline (Hosler)

Rosaline McLean (Hosler) passed away peacefully on the morning of April 21, 2010 with her daughters by her side.

Mom was born September 15, 1918 in Glenella, Manitoba to Charles and Elizabeth Hosler; she was the eldest of eight children. On April 10, 1937 she married Colin McLean, and they had forty three years together. She was predeceased on March 25, 1980 by her husband. She was also predeceased by her parents and four brothers: Tommy in infancy, Ivan, Russ and Jim. Left to mourn her passing are her two daughters: Coleene (Dave) Falk of Abbotsford, BC and Marilyn (John) Goritsas of Abbotsford, BC; sisters: Marion Allanson of Winnipeg, Manitoba and Helen (Forrest) Hall of Killarney, Manitoba; brothers: Earl (Val) Hosler of Lamont, Alberta and Wesley Hosler of Vancouver, BC; sisters-in-law: Marjorie Hosler of Lacombe, Alberta, Mary Hosler of Leduc, Alberta, Jean Hosler of Portage La Praire, Manitoba, and Edith Hosler of Neepawa, Manitoba; also many nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

A Graveside Service was held on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at Hazelwood Cemetery, Abbotsford, BC. Erica Thiessen, Chaplin of the Menno Home officiated. Pallbearers were: John Goritsas, son-in-law, Earl Hosler, brother, Wesley Hosler, brother, Rod Fraser, member of the family, Jim Goritsas, member of the family, and Harvey Storey, family friend.

Donations in Mom's memory, if you so choose, may be made to the Mennonite Benevolent Society or to a charity of your choice.

The family would like to thank the staff of West One of the Menno Home for their amazing love, care, respect and dignity they have shown Mom over the last 3 ½ years. We will always remember your kindness.
